Gembyung
Gembyung Art: Islamic Heritage in Cirebon Gembyung Art is an Islamic cultural heritage from Cirebon, which developed from Flying art in the Islamic boarding school environment. It is believed that Terbang used to be a medium for broadcasting Islam in Cirebon and its surroundings. Gembyung itself is a percussion musical instrument made of leather and wood, with its name taken from the sound of the beat: "gem" (hold) and "byung" (release).
